Merry Christmas

Matt, Ally & I had a great 2nd Christmas together. Ally's Grampa & Nana came to visit and we all had a great time. She got tons of gifts and has been playing with them all non-stop since she opened them. I hate that Christmas is already over but now we have our trip to Orlando/Tampa to look forward to next week.

Ally gets tubes

Well after 4 ear infections since July it was time for Ally to get tubes. She did great through this procedure. We got to the hospital at 6am and she wound up not going back until around 8:15. She was as happy as she could be while we were waiting, even though she was not allowed to eat or drink anything. The procedure itself took less than 10 minutes. The doctor said the right ear looked good, but the left ear was full of fluid so it was a little more difficult. She was in a little bit of pain after it was over and we had a hard time calming her down. When we got her home she took a good nap and then woke up much happier. Her Grampa & Nana came to visit for Christmas yesterday and that really made her happier. She had a great nights sleep too so i'm really hoping the tubes are already helping!

Ally turns 1!!!!!

Ally turned 1 year old on Friday and she had her birthday party Saturday at Gymboree Play & Music. It was a perfect birthday party for her. She had so much fun with all of her family and friends! I can't believe Ally is 1 year old already. I don't know where this year has gone. I'm enjoying watching her grow up, but at the same time it's so sad too! She'll always be my baby girl no matter how big she gets!
